We offer affordable, high quality care and education provided by fully qualified and experienced staff.

We are a two unit preschool catering for the early education of children 3 - 6 years. We are licensed to provide care for up to 40 children per day, Monday to Friday, excluding all Public School Holidays and Gazetted State and National Public Holidays. Our opening hours are 8.15am to 3.45pm.

All our fees are subsidised by the State government. Families who hold a Centrelink Low Income Health Care Card or are of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander background are eligible for a further subsidised fee.

Our service boasts a challenging and stimulating physical environment, situated in natural, bushland setting. Children enjoy relaxed, friendly, family-orientated programmes presented in spacious classrooms complimented by an inspiring outdoor environment.

Children are supported in their preparation and transition to local schools facilitated with consideration given to inclusion of children with additional needs. Professional support staff visit regularly to conduct small group additional learning sessions.

Many community-based preschools use the slogan, "It takes a community to raise a child", this is based on an old African proverb that highlights the importance of family, educators and community in each child's development. At Toukley Preschool Kindergarten, we believe that if we all work together to raise a child, we will produce strong, healthy, socially aware adults who will one-day impact the world in a positive way, maybe even change it for the better.
