The continuity of our staff is something we are very proud of. Our staff remain constant from year to year and the fact that many of them have been employed by Toukley Preschool for well over 15 years is testament to the happy working environment provided by the service. Where else would you find child care staff who have stayed in a service for that length of time?

There is an extraordinarily high number of trained staff in our service. We employ four university trained Early Childhood Teachers, eight Diploma trained teachers, two Certificate III teachers and our Administration Officer holds a Cert IV Administration Certificate.

We also boast higher staff to child ratios than are typically found in similar services. Most days of the week, our rooms have 3 staff employed to care for and supervise 20 children, this is a 50% increase on the number of staff required by our licence (2 staff to 20 children).

Our commitment to the next generation of child care professionals is important to us. This is why we welcome many students on work experience and practicum from local high-schools, TAFE and universities as well as employing trainees.

We have a wonderfully dedicated team of Early Childhood Educators and Administrative staff at Toukley Preschool. They are eager to develop a relaxed and friendly partnership with you and your family.
